ANNUAL AWARDS 2009 Abergele Swimming Club recently held its Annual Awards Evening at the Faenol Fawr. The evening was well attended by club swimmers and parents. Awards were presented to swimmers by the Mayor of Abergele, Mrs Delyth MacRae. After the presentation of awards, new club captains Hannah Knightley and Cameron Bell took over their roles for the forthcoming year, with Hannahs first task being to present the Mayor with a bouquet of flowers. A special thank you from all swimmers was expressed to Club Coach Sian Lancaster for her dedication and commitment throughout the year. The club would particularly like to thank the following Abergele based businesses for sponsoring the evening : Tesco, Gwalia House Buthchers, Alan Lancaster and Co, Somerfield and Kath Thompson Body Shop.
