SWIM WALES NORTH JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT MEET
Eight swimmers competed in the Aquatic Pentathlon on May 15th in Llandudno Swimming Centre, bringing back a mountain of medals and trophies! Above, from right - Connor Fox (9th overall, 4 PBs), Ellie Sherrington (4th overall, 5 PBs), Jac Sherrington (4 PBs), Eleanor Fryer (4 PBs), Sean Williams (6th overall, 5 PBs), Rhian Jones (3 PBs). Special congratulations to Ceri Williams (right back, 1st overall with 5PBs) and Erin Botham (right front, 3rd overall, 5 PBs). To top it all off, the 8-9-yr old Girls relay team took silver in the 100m freestyle and medley relays!

SPRING TIME SUCCESS IN BANGOR
10 swimmers - Gethin Jones, Jamie Travis, Ioan Wellsbury, Connor Fox, Elain Jenkins, Lily Hughes, Ceri and Sean Williams (above), Rhian Jones and Jac Sherrington - raced at the Menai AA&B meet on February 27th. Seventeen PBs were achieved with medals for Elain, Rhian, Jamie and Ioan (and speeding tickets for Ioan and Ceri!)

 CLUB HISTORY
The Club was formed back in 1996 with just 16 members. We are a voluntary run club that relies on the commitment of not just the swimmers, but also their parent(s). We welcome any parent who wishes to offer their skills, time and effort in order to improve the club. Now in 2010 we have over 50 members. |
